Wondering: What discussion strategies will most effectively engage students to collaborate with peers?
Professional development is crucial to educators and is beneficial to the inquiry process. Professional development includes attending and presenting at conferences. This last week I attended the National Association of Professional Development Schools (NAPDS) conference in Washington D.C. I also had the honor of presenting my inquiry at this conference and receive beneficial feedback.
This learning is important to my inquiry because it further concretes my experiences and learning throughout the inquiry process. Through attending and presenting at the NAPDS conference I gained insights into the importance of collaborating with peers (which directly relates to my inquiry of discussion strategies to increase student collaboration).
